ABOUT ME
BEHIND THE LENS
Apoorv, a 26 years old youngster, found an interest in photography when he was 15 and is an avid photographer now. Currently he works as a sales & application engineer in Pune and loves to freelance as a lifestyle/fashion photographer. He believes that photography is not only about clicking photos of beautiful subjects but is also about beautifying ordinary ones.
A few achievements:
1. Silver place in a world-wide competition 'Africa Photographic Awards' (under 19 category) for which he was invited to South Africa (2010).
2. 3rd prize in B/W photography in a national level competition sponsored by Better Photography magazine and Sanctuary Asia (2008).
3. Two nominations for Better Photography Young Photographer Of The Year (2009).
4. 6th place in the competition 'Asia Without Borders' (under 22 category) by Asian Geographic (2009).
His photos have been printed in HT cafe, Better Photography magazine and have also been exhibited by Sakal newspaper (Vasundhara exhbition).
